Little girl reflection

Finished my drawing form last night. This was much more difficult that I thought it would be. Most people just draw a reversed image for the reflection, but this is incorrect as what is reflected is based on the perspective horizon. In other words the higher up our view is, the more of the underside of the object reflected will be seen in the water. There is also quite a bit of distortion when it comes to the perspective of the reflection itself. A good learning experience for the night.

Just a little girl playing in the water with a lizard creature in her lap. This is going to be a two-parter. Tomorrow I'll finish up my idea.

Asian temple drawing

Decided to continue with the architecture designing tonight, and incorporate a little more environment into the scene. Now I just need to take the time to complete one of these.

An old house sketch

Just a little house tonight, set at a dynamic perspective. I did the perspective freehand, so it got a little wonky.

A grizzled gangster character

Didn't know what I'd draw tonight, so I just started drawing a face. Put some crazy whiskers on him, and crumpled his face.

Just a little drawing tonight. It's Jack's cottage after he planted the beans.

Mushroom face

Well it was a interesting idea, I would have to do it over again to get it right, but I always learn something about the construction of such themed drawings.
