English Storefront

I continue with my story for my first children's book with local. I want to set my story within an old English store in a small community.

The Heisman Elf

Superbowl Sunday has come and gone. It was a good game, and the party I threw was good, but I was much more interested in the food than sport. Though in tribute I decided to create a little guy in the Heisman trophy pose.

Deadpool

Marvel has always represented my favorite comic book stylings... on average. The in your face foreshortened forms their artists favor have such interesting contours. I'm interested in improving my skill at these foreshortened forms.

A wizard

So I keep on thinking up stories. So many that its hard to concentrate on which to work on. This is just a simple wizard sketch I did in a little over an hour. My idea involves a world in which magic was once the ruling force but was forgotten after a wizarding war. Centuries later technology has come and evolved well past our own. And the peoples of this new age start to rediscover their magic roots through archeology. Oh ya, you guessed it robots and wizards :)

Chain of Command

I'm building a little world of characters for my story. I've already come up with a small storyline for a first children's book. The two characters I've worked on here are a General cat and his Officer mouse. The mouse is reporting in with a scouting report.

Unicorn

A unicorn to be protected by last night's defending faerie. I used reference images of both Davinci's horses and "The last Unicorn" by Rankin and Bass. I seem to be developing a technique for drawing upon many sources to create an amalgamation of a sketch, of course with my own personal spin.
