Steampunk plane

I'd like to do more steampunk drawings. They look so cool and allow for a lot of freedom in the forms of technology.

A big eyed girl

I started drawing a little girl's face. as I drew she got older, which happens if you don't pay attention to what your doing. So I just went with it and put some flowers in her hair. Her facial proportions stayed slightly altered.

Just a simple pen sketch tonight of a hand.

I  didn't notice until I scanned this guy in how distorted his face became as I was drawing leaned back in my chair. Proportional drawing demands correct viewing angle... got it.

A mushroom cloud

So my wife came up with a cool idea, something I haven't drawn (to my recollection  ever before. A mushroom cloud of a giant explosion. Bit of a stylization.

I don't know

I started drawing tonight and just drew whatever. Somehow I always do a character when I go freestyle.

Blub... This was not how this little fish was looking for his day to go. Went cartoony tonight. My cartoon style is progressing pretty well lately, but I still feel there is nothing that really distinguishes it as mine.

So This is just a quick sketch. I worked on foreshortening tonight, but I didn't take my time so some of the girl's features are a bit wonky.

The lion who ate the trainer

My wife came up with the idea for this one. I like these narrative type drawings.

A dancing wiener

I was watching an old movie and they had this little intermission dancing wiener. "Lets all go to the lobby, lets all go to the lobby, lets all go to the lobby... and get ourselves a snack."

Rodent of unusual size

Its been a long time since I watched The Princess Bride, but it was a favorite of mine growing up. The idea of unusually large rat like creatures was a fun one to play with. I like this off-normal but within reason feel to giant creatures. Like the spiders from Harry Potter.

Zombi child - Ballerina Girl

In this world everyone woke up as zombies. They don't remember how they got the way they are since they all have permanent amnesia. This girl woke up half eaten wearing a tutu with a head that swivels unnaturally.

The story behind this sketch is a world in which everyone but a select few are zombies, and are preyed upon by gung-ho survivalists. I thought up a whole bunch of characters. But I thought cute zombie children were the most interesting.

Thought it would be fun to do a little cartoon character tonight. Just a quick sketch of a squawking little bird.

Well it was a long day and I decided to just do a simple dragon drawing tonight. I like the jaw structure, pretty evil really.

So tonight I'm posting from an IPhone since my computer is still down. Just drew a ninja bust in high contrast, as if he were caught in a storm.

A superhero nerd

I though it would be funny to draw a nerdy guy in hero costume, and in a classical pose. I think he needed to do some jumping jacks before squeezing himself into his costume.

Kamaji from Spirited Away

Was watching Spirited Away tonight, and drew one of my favorite characters. The art in that movie was amazing.

My VW Beetle

I've owned a white VW beetle for a long time. It was my first car, and I just held on to it even though its been parked for years. I recently had some troubles with my current car and needed a quick replacement. My dad and I are currently working to bring the old bug back to life.
